About the Team

Our scope includes end-to-end claims processing, Letter of Guarantee (LOG) issuance, customer service, business processing, and panel network management. We support both virtual and in-person clinical services, ensuring smooth daily operations and swift resolution of any issues. About the role

We’re looking for a Data Analytics Intern who is curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data to support operational and client reporting. You’ll assist in extracting, cleaning, and analyzing datasets, maintaining dashboards, and identifying trends that help teams make better decisions.

You’ll work closely with Operations and Tech teams while gaining hands-on experience with tools such as Google BigQuery, Excel, and reporting platforms in a fast-paced healthcare technology environment.

A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows:

• Assist in extracting, cleansing, validating, and analyzing large datasets from Google BigQuery to support operational and client reporting.
• Support the preparation and distribution of TPA operations monthly statistic reports to respective clients upon completion by division team leads.
• Assist in developing and maintaining recurring operational, performance, and client reporting dashboards.
• Analyse trends, identify anomalies, and provide basic insights to support operational decision-making.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills by diagnosing and resolving data or reporting issues while escalating to the Tech Team when necessary.
• Assist in automating manual reporting processes and improving reporting efficiency where applicable.
•  Maintain proper documentation for reports, SQL queries, and reporting processes.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality of operational and client data.
• Support testing and validation for reporting enhancements, data fixes, and system changes.
• Perform any ad hoc tasks or projects assigned by the Manager.

About you

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of database structures and SQL fundamentals, including data coding retrieval, table joins, filtering, aggregation, and query optimization
•  Familiarity with Google BigQuery and database/query tools such as DBeaver is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, and data analysis functions.
• Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with good organisational and time management skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
