Internship for Chemical Engineering/Chemical Process Engineering, Petronas Chemicals Methanol Sdn Bhd at Labuan

Technical
1. Learn Methanol process and assist to monitor Process Parameters, record key process indicators across the methanol production loops as per assigned.
2. Learn Distributed Control System (DCS) monitoring and understand how automated systems manage plant stability, participate in routine operator structured rounds etc.
3. Support and assist process troubleshooting activities. Help engineers investigate process deviations, identify root causes of equipment issues, and propose corrective actions.
4. Strictly follow Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, participate in safety toolbox meetings, HSE activities/programs, and assist in HSE/PSM related jobs. 
5. Process/Functional report and document preparation as assigned. 
6.Assist OFWP elements compliance check and track (if assigned)
7. Assist to facilitate/Coordinate/Arrange Department/Company meetings, events, workshops as per assigned.  
8. Support Turnaround planning and preparation
9. Joining and assist plant SUSD activities for learning purpose 
10. Multidisciplinary knowledge learning via attending internal training assigned

Functional
1. Learn how to use internal apps (PI Vision, Power apps, Power BI, POINT, Ilims, APM etc)
2. Involvement/Participation and learning regarding OER2 matters, include involvement in Empowered team

Others
1. Involve, assist & support day to day task/activities/event which does not listen above as assigned/any administrative task assigned
2. Assist in non-technical but work-related matters– Event planning/organization, scribe, presentation pack preparation, etc as per assigned.
