Internship

This internship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance operations and digital document management within a global organization. You will support the NOAM region's Real Estate Accounting team by working with real property management transactions, learning how financial documents are processed, validated, and organized in a professional system (OnBase).

Through this role, you will build practical skills in accounting workflows, attention to detail, and business communication, while developing a strong foundation for a future career in finance or accounting.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• Learn how to manage and process real-world finance documents received from landlords through a shared email system.
• Review and understand different types of documents such as reimbursements, invoices, and statements.
• Convert emails and attachments into organized, professional digital records (PDF format).
• Gain hands-on experience using OnBase, a corporate document management system used in finance operations.
• Support the team in accurately recording key information such as store details, expense types, and amounts.
• Develop strong attention to detail by checking completeness and accuracy of supporting documents.
• Assist in organizing and categorizing documents to ensure easy retrieval and audit readiness.
• Learn how to handle multiple document types and prioritize tasks efficiently in a structured workflow.
• Build productivity and time management skills by working within defined process timelines.
• Collaborate with team members and gain exposure to real business communication and finance processes.
• Contribute to process improvement ideas and team efficiency where applicable.

Applicant should have Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent with proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills are all essential to this position.
