Responsibilities:

• You will be part of the global team that develops and manages the state-of-the-art, in-house developed application used in BASF plants around the world
• You will assist the Application Operations Engineering and Test Automation teams based in Kuala Lumpur
• You will gain knowledge of key functions in Application Management and Quality Assurance
• You will review and refine application requirements while preparing comprehensive test scenarios
• You will analyse test outcomes, including errors, bugs, and usability issues
• You are required to understand user requirements and create manual test cases to validate them
• You are required to gather and compile data to generate detailed test reports and documentation

Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Business Informatics, or a related field
• Able to commit to a full-time internship for a duration of 5 to 6 months
• Possess a growth mindset with a strong curiosity to learn and improve
• Passionate about Information Technology and Digitalization
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for a collaborative team environment
• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies as required
• Demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Capable of completing tasks with minimal supervision
• Experienced in software development, particularly in web and mobile applications
• Experienced in application operations support
• Good understanding of testing, the software development lifecycle, and agile methodologies
• Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Postman is an added advantage
• Able to identify coverage deficiencies and improve test coverage
• Able to think critically, structured, and organised
