Intern - Product Quality

Job Summary

The Product Quality Unit Intern will support the team in ensuring product quality standards are maintained across property development projects. The intern will assist with quality inspections, documentation, coordination with internal stakeholders, data compilation and administrative tasks while gaining practical exposure to quality management practices within the property development industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Product Quality Unit in coordinating quality assurance and quality control activities for ongoing development projects. 
• Support the preparation, compilation and maintenance of quality inspection records, reports and related documentation.
• Assist in tracking and monitoring defect rectification status and follow up with project teams where required.  
• To explore new building materials that are potential to be used at Gamuda Land’s project and to be open to learn on construction  work sequence on site.
• Coordinate meetings, site visits and inspections, including preparing minutes and action trackers.
• Compile and analyse quality-related data to support reporting and continuous improvement initiatives. 
• Assist in preparing presentation materials, dashboards and quality performance reports. 
• Maintain proper filing and organization of quality documents in both physical and digital formats. 
• Liaise with internal departments such as Project Management, Construction, Customer Experience, and Consultants to facilitate quality-related matters. 
• Provide administrative support for departmental projects and initiatives.  
• Perform any other duties and assignments as delegated by the supervisor. 

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering/equivalent.

Skills & Abilities

• Must possess working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 in construction and property development.
• Able to communicate with all levels of management, energetic, assertive and able to achieve bottom line results.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Melayu (written and oral).
• Well versed in working with Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides.
