Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Intern to support the Accounts team in daily financial operations. This role is ideal for students or fresh graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, and administrative tasks within a fast-paced working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and updating financial records, invoices, and payment vouchers.
  • Support month-end closing activities including data entry, filing, and document verification.
  • Perform basic accounting tasks such as matching invoices, preparing bank reconciliations, and updating ledgers.
  • Assist in maintaining proper documentation of finance-related files in accordance with company policies.
  • Support the Accounts Executive and Finance team in audits, financial analysis, and report preparation.
  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks related to finance operations.
  • Ensure all financial information is kept confidential and handled professionally.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Accounts team or supervisor.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (debit/credit, ledgers, journals).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Eager to learn and able to maintain professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Added Advantage

  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting, AutoCount, UBS, or others).
  • Ability to start immediately or within short notice.

Duration & Allowance

  • Internship Duration: 6 Months
  • Allowance: RM 1,000
